the gift that keeps on giving
My sweet parents-in-law gave me this beautiful hibiscus last summer. I kept it in the garage through the winter and it is even prettier this year than last. They thought they were just giving me a plant, but it came complete with the added bonus of the hummingbirds it attracts. It is on the back patio right outside my kitchen window where I can watch these tiny little birds feast on the big, pink blooms.

Nothing like a hummer! You must live in a bird paradise.
How sweet! I don't think those kind of hummers are in my neighborhood....but I have seen a few with wheels! hehe

Summer time is so much fun..and to see a hummingbird feasting on a Hibiscus is pretty fine!! And, a very nice gift from your parents!
It is good to be home!
Hi Mary, The tag is only if you want to do it. I didn't do mine by the book...I rewrote the questions and then answered them...asked a few friend to join and posted. I'm not sure about the rules or how important they are. It's to help us know each other better. The snack question is fun....most enjoy chocolate!:)
It is called a snapshot....you could add a photo you love.
Hope this helps! :)
Happy Birthday Mom!
Love,

I am o.k. just having a hard time getting back in the blogging mood...went to canton and had a good time but forgot my camera...i hope next week to get inspired again to blog...thanks
Mary! Your site is beautiful! Your photography is wonderful! We need to find a way to get your artwork, my mom's, and anyone's else up here where I can set up a booth at Paris St Market for all of you! I think shipping your things up here might be a bit risky, but I think all of you would make a killing at the market. That market doesn't have anything like what you make. Hope you're doing well! Steph
hi Mar! I just love looking at your blog..it's so inspiring :) I hope you had a fun bday party at the CC! My mom was super excited about it! Love you!
Hi Mary, Thanks for the compliment on my roses. If I were planting more roses I would go for the David Austen roses. They are strong, bushy and full of blooms. The lavender roses and yellow roses are not so great...nice flowers but very difficult to keep looking good. My all time favorite is the Peace rose.
I will post on the wedding flowers. I have them all ready to begin designing! I am using a lot of herbs and grasses. This may be my least stressful wedding ever!!
Have a good weekend!!
Are things going well?
