just picked
"Just Picked" 6"x8" oil SOLD
This is the first painting I've done on my own since the workshop. I kept hearing Carol say, "Paint everyday" "Don't be afraid" "Squint." So, that's what I did. Imagine my surprise when it turned out the way I'd hoped. This radish was straight out of the garden. I had just washed off the dirt and it was shiny and the prettiest red. It tasted good, too.

Mary, What a beautiful radish! I can tell you got a lot out of the workshop. Look at how many great paintings you came home with. It was wonderful meeting new art friends from all over the country. Stay in touch!
Mary, these are beautiful. I especially like this one, the cherries (or cherry tomatoes), and the juice pitcher with bird eggs. You really do a great job with the shadows.
Mary I love the paintings you have done since your workshop. It sounds like you all had a great time and obvious learned alot! Keep up the great work.
