How do people paint and get ready for Christmas? I do not know. For me, it's one or the other. I'm enjoying Christmas more after the fact than before. All the hectic-ness is over and this week between Christmas and the New Year is always a nice reprieve for us. It has snowed twice, which slows things down even more. My favorite Christmas present: time to be still and quiet, time to reflect on God's goodness and what Christ did for all of us...every living soul.

It is nice to have some time to reflect on the goodness of God and all He's done for us! I hope your New Year is joyous and there is plenty of time to paint!
It's raining here....but we did have a little snow. It's so pretty and it helps slow us down!
