western kingbird

SOLD

I'm an avid bird/nature watcher so it is only natural they/it will find their way into my paintings. I am having fun trying new things, but have to admit to suffering when things don't turn out. That is where painting everyday comes in - it is easier to be emotionally detached when you know you will start another one tomorrow :)

Well, don't be discouraged. I love to see your work!! I've been enjoying more frequent "reveals"! Most of us aren't artist, so we think they are all gorgeous!

Mary! I just got on your blog for the first time since we got back!Wow! I am so impressed. Beautiful paintings Mary. You want to know which one is my favorite? The Crepe Myrtle. I love it! The glass and the water are good!!!

I'm so proud that you've been painting daily. Yesterday was my first day, since we got back. Kay Knowles gave me a pink hygrangea today and I'm hoping to paint it real quick tonight and then again tomorrow! In fact, I think I'll do it now. Thanks for the inspiration!
